# How to filter your orders

Filter orders with a tag before batching them together

Filters make it easy to display only relevant orders.

It's especially helpful in the Assign screen, just before batching orders together for shipment.

To filter orders on the Assign screen:

Click **Filters.**

A filter dropdown will appear.

Select a filter or click on Add filter to create a new one by entering rules for it.

When a filter is selected, it appears on the Assign screen's bar, under the status tabs.

To remove a filter, just click on the X in the filter.
