# Cutoff timer for product page promise

Add a sense of urgency with a product page shipping cutoff timer

January 2, 2024

After [setting up a product page delivery promise](https://support.prettydamnquick.com/en/articles/7953892-adding-a-product-page-delivery-promise), you may want to take it to the next level: adding a cutoff timer for the delivery methods.

The cutoff timer adds a sense of urgency, pushing your shoppers to hurry and complete their purchase to get their order by a specific time.

Share the exact time it will take until the Fastest or Free shipping options are available in a few simple steps. And once the cut-off time runs out, that delivery option will disappear (or it will be replaced by a fallback option).

This feature is directly connected to your " [Product Page Delivery Promise](https://support.prettydamnquick.com/en/articles/7953892-adding-a-product-page-delivery-promise)" setup.

**How do I add the cut-off timer?**

From the left-side menu select **Delivery Methods** then click on **Product page**. You will be able to activate the cut-off time for each of the product page promise options (Fastest or Free).

On the right side of the screen, you can see a preview of how your Product Delivery Promise will look with and without the cut-off timer.

That's it, it's as simple as that!
